If you received an email about incorrect parking, it usually means one of the following:
- You parked pretty great but could’ve done better (we love it when it’s perfect ✨). So, when we see riders who park as good as you did but with space for improvement, we want to let them know about it. We all dream about clutter-free streets, safe and accessible for all, right?
- We’ll also let you know if your parking was a little risky. For example, if the vehicle wasn’t standing upright and next to a wall (or other hindrances) or if it was obstructing access or traffic (read more about parking requirements here). It’s important for us to make sure that our vehicles don’t create clutter or pose risks to those around us, especially to disabled and visually impaired individuals. In case of repeated violations of parking requirements, we may charge you a fee.
These actions are a part of our Parking Assistant system, designed to make parking easy and help riders to park in a way that is safe for everyone around. With Parking Assistant, we analyse parking photos, guide riders on safe parking and move vehicles that are left in inappropriate locations.
