What is Parking Assistant?

Parking Assistant is a system designed to make parking easier and help riders to park in a way that is safe for everyone around and doesn’t create clutter or obstruction. 

To achieve this goal, we ask users to take a photo of the parked vehicle after they finish their ride. The quality of the photo is an important step in this process because it allows us to see how the vehicle is parked.

If the photo meets the requirements, we proceed with assessing the parking. Depending on local regulations, we may process some or all of the photos users submit. Based on the outcome, we guide users on how to park like a pro. However, repeated violations of photo and parking requirements may result in warnings and fees. 

Reviewing parking photos helps us to understand where we can improve our service and build micromobility infrastructure that is safe and inclusive for all.
