With Parking Assistant, we ask users to submit an end-of-ride photo of how the vehicle is parked after they finish their ride. These photos are then reviewed by our Parking Assistant team whose goal is to guide riders on parking in a way that is safe for everyone around and doesn’t create clutter or obstruction.
You might wonder why it’s so important for us that you submit a good parking photo. The short answer is that a good photo is necessary for us to see how the vehicle is parked. The longer answer is that we care about making an unbiased and fair conclusion and we want to understand how we can make the experience of parking a vehicle as clear and smooth as possible.
So how do you take a good parking photo? Check the following steps!
- Make sure that your photo is clear and light. Use a flashlight if it’s dark 📸
- Take a step back when taking a photo to have the entire vehicle in the picture. This way we can see the surroundings and how the vehicle is parked in relation to other objects. We want to make sure that it doesn’t obstruct access, create clutter, or pose any danger to disabled or visually impaired people.
Note: repeated violations of parking photo requirements may result in a fee.
